Noise
a. Noise from individual premises should not interfere with the rights and comforts of other owners or occupants. While the Fourth Schedule of the DMC is specific about the requirements with regards to noise, the important point is that we should not annoy our neighbours.
b. It is accepted that there are occasions when individuals wish to celebrate, but they are advised to inform neighbours when this is likely to happen.
c. Excessive noise from individual houses on a regular basis is not conducive to harmonious co-existence in our society. Owners of holiday houses are asked to reiterate this on their house users.
