Foreword

a.    These Guidelines cover some, but not all of, an Owners’ obligations under the 1982 Deed of Mutual Covenant (‘DMC’), and Building Management Ordinance. They also outline Owners, Tenants, and Guests responsibilities with respect to the management and preservation of safety, security, and appearance of the Butterfly Crest Estate.

b.    The Management Committee takes an active interest in anything which impacts on the safety, security, quality, and harmony of the Butterfly Crest. With constructive input of our community, we aim to maintain – and hopefully improve – the quality of life here, and do so cost effectively.

c.    Any comments, views, or suggestions with regard to the management of our estate may be addressed to the Estate Manager.

d.    Useful contact details and security information will be distributed to each individual house for reference and updated on a regular basis by the Estate Manager.

e.    We hope you will find these Guidelines both useful and reasonable, and as a basis for continuous improvement.  As a small community we should be able to resolve all issues though meaningful and constructive discussion.  If there is doubt on any issue please refer to the DMC and the Estate Manager.
